Wrapped Bronze Bushings (FB090 / CuSn8 with Oil Pockets)
Wrapped bronze bushings (FB090 style) are thin-walled sleeves formed from CuSn8 bronze strip, typically with oil pockets to hold lubricant. A high-load, low-speed workhorse in agricultural and construction pin positions — compact, formable, and widely cross-referenced on OEM drawings.
When to use
- High load, low speed pin and joint positions
- Agriculture and construction equipment sleeves
- Thin-wall wrapped form preferred over thick cast bushings
- Grease or oil lubrication with pocket retention
Not the first pick when: dry solid-lubricant plugs are required (graphite-plugged), or a dry low-friction polymer face (PTFE-lined).
Forms available
- Cylindrical (sleeve) wrapped bushings
- Flanged wrapped bushings (where available / to drawing)
- FB090-style / CuSn8 with oil pockets — reference sizes on request
Materials
CuSn8 phosphor bronze strip, wrapped and calibrated; oil-pocket patterns as specified.
Typical duty
Tractor and implement hitch pins, construction equipment pin bushings, agricultural linkages, and other grease-lubricated high-load sleeves.
Operating envelope (qualitative)
High load · low speed · lubricated (grease/oil) · thin wall. Numeric charts on request from factory data.
Replacement / equivalent note
FB090 and similar wrapped-bronze designations are industry reference styles for cross-sourcing only.
